ParticipantI’m happy to report that I received a response today and am all set. The version they linked me to self updates. 🙂 Thanks again!

ParticipantMike,
I appreciate the effort, however it does not work. I’ve been trying that since reinstalling (see screenshots). I’ve disabled windows firewall, and just for reference I’ve been a systems admin for 15 years and a programmer for almost 10. However, I am still capable of overlooking the obvious…

ParticipantIt requires an activate code that’s generated when installed. It uses some sort of random generation based on a system GUID or timestamp algorithm. Even if I kept a copy, I would need them to send me an authorization code.

ParticipantI’m wondering if something is going on with Marven.
I tried to email info@delftship.net about my purchase from earlier this year. I had to reformat my computer and the download link from my original purchase expired. I even forwarded him my receipt from the original purchase for his reference. No response yet.
Anyone know anything?

ParticipantSoeren,
Thanks for the kind words. I built it using stitch and glue construction using epoxy. The core material is Plascore PP Honeycomb. Due to my lack of experience and a problem with the Plascore board (the company came back and made it right) it’s a little heavy at 180lbs. The next build will be much lighter. I don’t know the max speed as the motor I use was a little small for it (6.5hp). I know I had it at over 10mph at one point.

ParticipantI’m not sure if you need pro for this or not. What you do is goto FILE -> EXPORT -> DXF Polylines. From there, choose where to save the file and make sure you check, “Create individual files”. It will create the dxf files. You can download a free dxf viewer from Autodesk called DXF TrueView. Afterward, you will need access to a plotter. If you don’t, export them from TrueView to PDFs and see if Kinkos or another print shop can print them. MAKE SURE that you do the override and set the paper size and scale to 1:1. The scale MUST be 1:1!
Once printed, you can then use them like a sewing pattern and cut to your hearts content.
I would like to say that printing could be costly and difficult to do. I suggest exporting them all to dxf’s and finding a job shop somewhere that can cut them on a CNC router for you.

ParticipantMarven,
Forgive me if I was vague. I’m not trying to use a CNC router, but rather print it on a plotter. However, to do so I have to haul my computer a long ways across the city. My friend who owns the plotter has a MAC, so installing Delftship on his computer isn’t an option. Printing to PDF isn’t viable as the length is too long for most converters to support. In the end I found PDF995 could export it in larger print sizes.

ParticipantBasically what you’re asking for is floating windows. I second the nomination for this feature.
It would be very helpful to keep plan, profile and bodyplan views on my main display and move the perspective view to a second monitor.
