Can you confirm that the length of your vessel is facing the ‘right direction’? (X increases when moving forward?) And X has (mostly) positive values?
Also, is midship location still 0,5 L? (project setings, main particulars tab)
From what I’ve seen, midship is the most likely suspect: it should be halfway APP and FPP.
    Hope this solves your issue.

    Hi Eric,

Could you please include a screenshot demosntrating the problem? I’m not quite sure I understand what goes wrong..

    Thanks!

    Hi Owkaye,

Sorry for the delay in replying. The official answer is that DELFTship is not supported on Linux. There are some reports from people that got it to run, but whether this is still the case now we use OpenGL I do not know.

    Hi Cicero,

On the DELFTship site, hover over the “Download” button and click on DELFTship free (http://delftship.net/DELFTship/index.php/download/delftship-free)

    Hi clc3123,

Sorry to hear about your issues.
Can you try to start DELFTship in safgemode? (keep the (shift) key down when starting DELFTship)
While it is not required to have an internet connection, DELFTship by default checks for updates when it starts, and this could be causing your problems. This can be disabled in the system preferences: go to the Sttings tab, clickl the Preferences button. On the first tab of the preferences window there is an option to change the setting for Automatic Updates.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi,

A point has to be a corner point when it joins three crease lines. This seems to be the case in your example. The short, vertical line (red) is a crease line, uncrease it and you can uncheck the corner property.

    Hi Milo,
This question is covered in another topic: http://www.delftship.net/DELFTship/index.php/forum/questions/3477-blocking
In essence, you need to hit ‘enter’ to confirm the values entered.

Unfortunately we did not develop the windows ribbons in house, and can’t modify this behaviour. If we could, we would (you’re not alone up that wall)
Taking these to a popup or other separate window would not help in accessibility.

    Hi chr_ramsdal,

    Welcome to the forum!
The quick access menu at the top of the screen has an export menu group.
    This contains the “part” option:

    Hello Serge,

Can you tell me which version of DELFTship you are using, and on what operating system? I’ve just tested here, and cannot reproduce the problem.

    Very sorry to hear that.

Could you please give more information (which OS you use, how can we reproduce this error)
If at all possible, could you send us the model that causes you these problems? We will look into this urgently.

    Hi ┼Żydr┼źnas,

Which version of DELFTship are you using? (if you are not on 7.14.281 I’d recommend updating first!)

… it could be something to restore in the future…

It will be ( in some form- probably a button in the menu ribbon)
