Hi Tops, sorry that no-one has helped you before now.

The program is designed so you only model half the hull then it completes the other half. There is a “both sides” button (red and green colour) next the the “show/hide control net” button.

Regarding the 2 lines in the bottom, are they necessary? You should be able to get a face to follow the whole underside of the hull. The other thing is are they creased lines? You can switch between hard and soft edges in the edge menu.

Hi Terry, yes they’re made coincident using copy.

I have been turning off layers when that’s possible but sometimes I need to compare the layer I’m moving with the one I’ve just turned off. And THB having to select and deselect layers this way just adds more time to the process, which I would like to streamline if possible.

I have to say that this is a feature I’d REALLY love to see implemented.

So many times I have been zoomed into a part and needing to orbit for a different view, but doing so makes the part disappear! so I have to zoom out, find the point I wanted, and zoom back in to the view I had.

Centre of current view would be great.

Another option which I’d personally like even better is having the centre of rotation be the point the mouse is at when the wheel is depressed (as in FreeCad, maybe you could utilise their code?).

This means it rotates naturally around the area you’re interested in without having to centre that area in the view first.
