Havent tested it yet Mike, but I don’t expect any issues since it complies with all the demands or Vista.

      Hi Marven,
I was just reading win 7 needs a fresh install if you have xp what a bummer and so much work, how are you going by the way.

      Mike,

I’ve just bought a new laptop with Windows 7 installed.
      DELFTship seems to work flawlessly.

Win 7 has totally rethought the way it manages the memory and is great for laptops.
I want to do my PC now but as Mike stated it is so much work to get it back how I like it. I expect I will install a new hard drive for the fresh install and not loose my baseline of where XP is at.

Marvin, it has to be a nice feeling when you do not need to chase bugs and re write your program when a new OS comes around.

      Charlie,

Ever though of using a program like “True Image”?
You can install it under XP and then create an image of your harddisk, for example to a second harddisk or even a network storage device or an USB drive.

Then you can install your New OS.
If you don’t like it, the reinstall “True Image” on your new OS (or any other backup program) and make it restore your previous backup. Once the backup is restored you will again have XP installed. I use it all the time.

And yes, it feels good not to have to adapt the software each time a new OS comes out.
I put a lot of effort in making my own components, that way I don’t need to rely on third party software without having acces to the source code.
