ParticipantHi all, I have put 2 emails in from the contact area of the site asking a couple questions but have yet to hear anything back. I was wondering if the $195 US was a one time fee or if you have to pay up each year or for each update? Also, just wanted to verify that it is a disk that gets mailed vs a digital download. I was weary in purchasing being that I haven’t had any replies to my emails yet. Can anyone shed some light on any of this for me?? I really need some plate expansion ability!!!
Thanks!

ParticipantThank you! It would be wonderful if it was a digital download, that would mean less time waiting on the post!

ParticipantHi,
( I was wondering if the $195 US was a one time fee or if you have to pay up each year or for each update?)
Up to this time, its just been a one-off fee which includes updates.Marven will contact you as soon as hes back in the office, he’s either on holidays with his family or out doing a commission.

ParticipantI’m wondering if something is going on with Marven.
I tried to email info@delftship.net about my purchase from earlier this year. I had to reformat my computer and the download link from my original purchase expired. I even forwarded him my receipt from the original purchase for his reference. No response yet.
Anyone know anything?

ParticipantI had contact with him early December, without any problem, he assisted me with a project, so he probably is out of the office at the moment.
I strongly suggest you to download your software and keep a copy of the installation file in a safe place in case you need to re-installed.
Best Regards

ParticipantIt requires an activate code that’s generated when installed. It uses some sort of random generation based on a system GUID or timestamp algorithm. Even if I kept a copy, I would need them to send me an authorization code.

ParticipantI wrote several emails to Delft-Ship, I reminded to these emails, but no reactions. What are you doing to get in contact with the Delft guys? I am a little bit angry about that ignorance 👿 .

ParticipantI am in the same situation, want to know if there is one time fee for a version + updates (5 and 5.1, 5.15, etc for example), or one time for multiple versions (5, 6, 7 etc).
Need to know because version 5 is almost one year ago in march, and if i buy version 5 and imediately comes version 6 i will be dissapointed. Also i am in a kind of a hurry with the project, and i need an answer. I post the question about a week ago and no answer.
I need to lasercut the shapes for a model af the boat for testing, and then present it for some fundraising and exhibition, and this situation just halt the project.
And if i do buy the software as is in this version if nobody answer means i cannot install the activation code?
Thanks,
Ove -

ParticipantCommunication is not the strongest part of Delfship
It will be nice if Marven will invest more time reading (and answering) this forum
