      Hello all…
I just downloaded and upgraded to 7.14, from 7.13. I no longer see the window showing the mouse location coordinates. I have tried this on 2 different, but identical Windows 7, 64 bit machines. What am I doing wrong?

      Thank you.

      Dear Ed,

On my system (win 8.1, 64bit) things seem to work as expected, bot with the viewport panels pinned down and not.
      Anyone else experience this problem?

I’m having the same issue and I have the same system – Windows 7, 64 bit. This makes the program effectively useless so I hope it can be remedied.

      Same to me

And all values of hydrostatics missing in all views,
Moreover, the numbers are so small that they are difficult to read.
Moreover, I lack the ability to change the lighting

Would it be possible to re-post 7.13, so I can downgrade until 7.14 is up and running?

      Thank you.

We have just released a new update (version 7.14.279) where both problems have been fixed. In addition new buttons have been added to the lines plan window and to the plate developments window, which can be used to print/plot the view-port contents to scale.

The update should be available as an automatic update. If it isn’t visible go to the settings tab and press the “Updates” button.

Well done, it works properly, compliments to the developers: Santa’s little helpers can go hide!

      Thanks for fixing that issue!

Has anyone tried the new full scale printing feature? Can we have some details on what you get and how it works?

      Thanks,

      Sean

      Hi Jurgen,

Yes problem with Lackenby, same as yours.

I’m about to download the new V7.14 and hope the display of hydrostatics is resolved. Will advise.

      Oops…
      I rejoiced unnecessarily as usual:

Just a small bug left… maybe more Santa’s little helper’s effort is needed.
      Tsk, tsk… Jurgen.

      Hi Jurgen,

Yep still a Bug or 2 in the hydrostatics display. From memory these parameters were not displayed in perspective view but were displayed in plan, bodyplan and right views.

      Dear Ed,
My old laptop running Vista 32bit is used as a come in handy backup in case my Windows 8.1pro fails. I cannot download the latest DS7.14pro on it as it tells me that ITaskbarList3 in not supported. No idea what that means, but does DS7.14pro work on vista32 bit?

Hello there, just tested and it seems to run well.
      to build up moral:
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=aqdVAbRN5UU
Anyway, the occasion is good for an old question concerning the criteria for definition of ‘leaking points’.
In this sample as in many others, points on the boundary of hydrostatics and non hydro layers are considered ‘leaking points’ by the software:

It is a correct interpretation and what kind of effects does it take?
      Thank you.
      With regards, Jurgen.

      Hello Jurgen,

In order to comprehend what happens during the hydrostatic calculations, just open the layer properties window and press the “hydrostatic layers only” button. The program then displays only the layers which are included for the hydrostatic calculations. This is also exactly what the program “sees” during the calulation.
So if you have a hydrostatic and non hydrostatic layer bonded together then the edge where the layers meet is indeed considered as leak.
