ParticipantHello all…
I just downloaded and upgraded to 7.14, from 7.13. I no longer see the window showing the mouse location coordinates. I have tried this on 2 different, but identical Windows 7, 64 bit machines. What am I doing wrong?Thank you.

KeymasterDear Ed,
On my system (win 8.1, 64bit) things seem to work as expected, bot with the viewport panels pinned down and not.
Anyone else experience this problem? -

ParticipantI’m having the same issue and I have the same system – Windows 7, 64 bit. This makes the program effectively useless so I hope it can be remedied.

ParticipantWould it be possible to re-post 7.13, so I can downgrade until 7.14 is up and running?
Thank you.

KeymasterWe have just released a new update (version 7.14.279) where both problems have been fixed. In addition new buttons have been added to the lines plan window and to the plate developments window, which can be used to print/plot the view-port contents to scale.
The update should be available as an automatic update. If it isn’t visible go to the settings tab and press the “Updates” button.

ParticipantThanks for fixing that issue!
Has anyone tried the new full scale printing feature? Can we have some details on what you get and how it works?
Thanks,
Sean

ParticipantHi Jurgen,
Yep still a Bug or 2 in the hydrostatics display. From memory these parameters were not displayed in perspective view but were displayed in plan, bodyplan and right views.

ParticipantDear Ed,
My old laptop running Vista 32bit is used as a come in handy backup in case my Windows 8.1pro fails. I cannot download the latest DS7.14pro on it as it tells me that ITaskbarList3 in not supported. No idea what that means, but does DS7.14pro work on vista32 bit?

ParticipantHello there, just tested and it seems to run well.
to build up moral:

Anyway, the occasion is good for an old question concerning the criteria for definition of ‘leaking points’.
In this sample as in many others, points on the boundary of hydrostatics and non hydro layers are considered ‘leaking points’ by the software:It is a correct interpretation and what kind of effects does it take?
Thank you.
With regards, Jurgen. -

KeymasterHello Jurgen,
In order to comprehend what happens during the hydrostatic calculations, just open the layer properties window and press the “hydrostatic layers only” button. The program then displays only the layers which are included for the hydrostatic calculations. This is also exactly what the program “sees” during the calulation.
So if you have a hydrostatic and non hydrostatic layer bonded together then the edge where the layers meet is indeed considered as leak.
