I am selling this old computur and I want to clean the hard drive for the new owner.
Can someone tell me how to uninstall (remove) the Freeship 2.6 application that I have?
Also, is it possible to just copy the entire folder for use on my new computer?
I am guessing this depends on whether or not the Windows XP registry is involved?
New computer is Windows Vista.
Many thanks
RegH
Freeship does not store files anywhere else then in the application folder (except for project files saved by yourself of course). So deleting the program folder and the desktop icon should remove all files.
For the same reason it’s also possible to copy the contents of the folder to your new computer and you’re good to go.
Oh, this is only valid for freeship up to version 2.6. Later versions (not developed by me) install additional garbage and exe files.
