unfold background

I installed a recent version of DS and now when I “unfold” a hull the background is black.  I’ve looked all through Settings to try to turn this back to white but can’t seem to find it.  Can anyone tell me how to do this?  I’ve been using this program for a long time and know it pretty well, so I’m embarrassed that I can’t do this simple thing.  Thanks!

As far as I know the background in the Unfold screen is the same as in all other (3D) viewports, and can be set in the Preferences window, Viewport background color

Thanks for responding.  I have my Viewport Background set to “white” in Preferences and it’s still black in the unfold Viewport.  Am I the only one having this problem?

That’s stange. Which version are you using?

I can not reproduce this, so I fear there is not much I can do for you  until I can.

Have you tried to ‘reset’ the preferences, maybe something went corrupt..?..

I keep meaning to reply.  I tried the “reset” as you suggested and it didn’t appear to do anything.  BUT, the next time I started my laptop, and Delftship, the background in “Unfold” was white!  So the problem is solved,  though I still have no idea what caused it.  Thank you for suggesting that.  My new question is about the little window up in the right hand corner that displays the X, Y and Z coordinates.  The background of this is grey, and I find it very difficult to read the black numbers against the grey background.  Can I turn this background white?  I can’t find a way to do that.

Glad to hear your problem has gone away…

As for the coordinates area, currently there is nothing you can do to change the background. We’ll have a look if we can do something about this in a next release. No promises though.
