      Hi,

      I am student of TU Delft. i am looking for a sample SWATH or Catamaran type model . i actually want to design a minehunter. anyone have a such model so that i can work on it to make a perfect model in delftship pro?

      If you go to the design database on this site you’ll find both a wave piercing cat and a swath under multihull.

      Any one check my model and tell me why delftship cant read it correctly?

      i exported this model from napa as iges. i wanted to measure hydrostatistics at draft 6
      L =55 and B =26 meter

      You’ve imported too many points, and may of those are leak since they could not be connected to the surrounding geometry. When importing NAPA iges files it’s best to disable the “import internal points” option. That way you will only import the control points which have been used in NAPA.

      ok thanks i will check that.

      And can anyone tell me what rules i should use for calculating resistnce for SWATH ? is it possible in Delftship ?

      Michlet can calculate SWATH resistance. Delftship outputs a file that can be used my Michlet. Some minor editing of the file might be necessary, depending on the version you are using.

      I suppose someone have access to maxsurf or rhino … i want to do hydrostatics calculation of this model using Delftship. In maxsurf , i dont know why i am getting Cb and Cp value above 1 . so i wanted to check it with Delftship , Draught at 6 m.

      i have attached both rhino and maxsurf model.. anyone please help me. i am not very good at delftship yet.

      Can anyone Take this model to Delftship and help me to do the hydrostatics calculation?

      Maxsurf giving me Cb and Cp value above 1 , so i am confused whats wrong ? i want to evaluate it with Delftship now. i am not very good at delftship yet..
