Single chine XYZ import giving not strait lines.
Some sections lines are coming out not strait in DELFTship. What is the reason?
I have built this boat back in 1986, design made with manual tools and the lines are strait.
Attached a PDF of the line and the boat picture

ParticipantVerify that all the points in the station are on a vertica plane, they must have all the same X value

ParticipantThey are on the same X plane.
The PDF file is from DELFTship DXF fileIosif

ParticipantIs probably because you only have points in the chine and in the deck line, try inserting points between the the chines and the deck lines and align them

ParticipantCruzmayora, thank you for the answer. I suppose that if I will insert points between the chine and the deck line the straitening can be done, but it will be a lot of work that is not logic to be necessary for such a simple hull.
As I understand from the documentation and tutorials regarding single chine hulls I have made the xyz file from the old drawings from 1986 (redraw the in AutoCad). I have also built the boat so I know the lines are strait.
My main point is that I don’t understand why is happening. I have done it the same with other single chine drawings and it was strait.
Maybe I made some mistake in the xyz file? I am attaching it.
Sorry having so many questions, I try to get the benefits from DELFTship and my learning curve is slow.Iosif

ParticipantYou are not working in the same plan. The second set of coordinates has X=5.90 but it should be X=5.67 jusl like the other two. Correct this and tell me how it looks

Thank you for the advice.
I had done as you say, made a new xyz but the results are same. I suppose I am making some additional mistake, or I really don’t understand.Iosif
