Hi!
I am using Shipconstructor to make detail drawings, but I have problem with the shell expansion. I was thinking to use Delftship as in initial design phase and get surface as output. Then export it to Shipconstructor, but it seems the surface is not systematic or regular as compared to Rhino output. Is there any option to get surface output as it looks in Rhino or any other idea? Thank you in advance.
At the moment one option seems to use plate developments option and use layer groups for different parts of hull (forcastle, side, bottom…) and then export dxf to SC. But still the edge between those layers (made of surfaces) sometimes can not be straight line suitable for plates. I have to make a knuckleline, but then the smoothness is lost between plates. Any help is welcomed.
