  Is it possible to ‘split’ the hull at a station and output that profile to a printer to allow me to cut out a hull profile at each station?
  
  I use this software for designing and building models and I am looking for an easier way to progress than working from the conventional lines diagram.

  Hi, McIntosh!
  I use this software with the same reason. I am making the model (Scale 1 : 16)of an traditional fishing boat. My method is:
- Defining the hull shape with Delftship.
- Exporting frames in the ‘DXF’ format file.
- Opening the ‘dxf’ file in CAD software
- Making detail drawing of the frame, ready to bi gluedon the wooden plank and cut to final shape

I export the lines file to a printer, then print enough copies to allow me to cut out each individual frame, paste to wood and cut to shape.
