I’m thinking about giving DS a try. I’ve got a professional mechanical cad, but it’s not so hot for tortured ply… Or hydrodynamics. So…

I’d like to try a couple design iterations and see how the speed will change. Will the reports provide this?

Can it help with e.g. mast placement? (Wind effects etc)

Considering that most design decisions are compromises, i guess I’m looking to reduce the number of updates to the build… Which version will i need for that?

The free version only calculates resistance (not speed) for sailing yachts or canoes.
