Problem with background image scale setting

  Hello,
  I´m doing my first steps with DELFT SHIP (Freeware), V 4.46.158 and I like it.
  Now I tried to use background images, following the tutorial – “Using backgroung images”.
  Loading a 186 kB JPEG-image: ok
  Moving it: ok
  Changing the scale: nok
  After selecting the the measurement-point and entering of its coordinates (given as XX.xxx,YY.yyy) the background image is invisible.
  
  The background image is in the file!
  I tried the several functions of the background image pop-up.
  Clearing of the invisible image ist possible.
  In every case, when I change the scale, the image is invisible after doing it.
  
  Whats going wrong?
