open with freeship

  In fact, if you have the professional version then you can save as version 2.6 which is compatible with freeship 2.6

  This should work: export it as .dxf mesh, import from 3dstudio and export as .wrl (3dstudio or any other 3d software cappable of exporting .wrl). Freeship opens .wrl without problems.
  Anyway, delftship free is easier and faster than freeship (and better good looking).
  Freeship, on the other hand, has a few more capabilities.
