Just bought Delftship and loving it! I would however, love one more decimal point for plate thickness. I am working with small boats and thin plate and keep having to convert to metric as the calculations in imperial using .125 thousandths aluminum get rounded and I end up with weight calculations 40% off or so. So that’s my feature request unless someone can instruct me that I’m doing it wrong 🙂
You mean in the layer properties window?
Correct. For example, I have a 3m boat hullside with .0032 thickness, and if I switch to imperial, it rounds to .0001. Due to this rounding the results in weight are significantly off. The hull weights about 95lbs if I do everything in metric and convert the final weight to imperial manually. If I work with imperial units in Delftship, it reports a weight of 50lbs. Not a biggie as I can work around it, but for small boat work in the USA it would be a nice feature.
