Another newbie question, regarding unfold, please help.

Have certain operations in DELFTship that I don’t know how to manage. For example to bring back the design to a previous stage. Using undo is not answering to all the subjects and if I have made save, no way back.
I have attached the unfold file printed to DXF before the change I have made to the design and after the change. I don’t know how to get back to the previous stage that it was correct. I have built this AMA 4 years ago.

I suggest you save often, and under different names, for example before you try a new delicate operation and after you succeeded in doing it. Thus, you can always get back from a previous stage of you design and continue it differently, and then choose the best final solution.

This uses more hard disc space, but it can help if you can’t set your mind. πŸ˜‰

Thank you for the tip (regarding saving as a new model/project). πŸ™‚ I am doing that while programming.
I assume I am getting old if I need a tip to remind me the issue. πŸ™

You aren’t the only one, Iosif!
When I began learning the use of CAD software, I was so much interested in the work that I was always forgetting to save my work… And when the software was jammed, I had to re-do it all. :pinch: Then I alighted on an interesting setting: the auto-save function! :woohoo: I chose to auto-save every 10 minutes, thus in the eventuallity any problem, only the 10 latest minutes ware lost.

πŸ˜‰ By the way, this is a suggestion for the Delft Team: Can’t you offer us an auto-save function in the next version?
