ParticipantHello there,
As reprensenting a small yard, we design most of our works in Rhino. I seek someone who could help to implement our hull model designed in Rhino into Delftship. IGES model or STL are available. Fees will be.
My questions:
-Is anyone of you who will be interrested in the job?
-Do you recommand anyone or any compagny where I should oriented myself to?Thank you per advance,
Regards,

ParticipantDid you try to import the IGES file ? Delftship allows you to do this. Alternatively, it allow you to import an STL file.
If you want me to test it, that is OK. But in that case, I need your IGES or STL file.
To my experience, Delftship is quite eay to use, but (as usual) it takes some time to get familiar with its capabilities.

ParticipantI wonder if you received my reply of yesterday?
Delftship can import IGES and STL files. My offer was to test one of your cases and see the result from Delftship. Of course, I would need a file from you.

ParticipantThank you Joost for your answer. (I only got the notice by mail of your last message…).
Anyway, yes I did import the files in IGES as well as STL. It result still with many points of leaks, while Rhino mention it as closed polysurface. I can send you the model. However we should contact by private message I assume.
Thank you.
