Is it still possible to submit a model to the Model Database?

(I remind you I’m still using an old version).
Isn’t there a button UPLOAD (or something like this) besides the button (DOWNLOAD)?
If not, it’s possible to create on the forum a new thread for the users can post their creations files (like I did long ago with pictures)… but I ain’t sure this would be very welcome: It would require an extra storage space on the server’s hard disc…
Formerly, the models’database was available from the forum. You had to download the model and put the file in the convenient directory. But but database is nolonger available from the forum.
It sounds that on the new version, models can be downloaded directly when using Delftship. I guess there must be a button on the same page than SAVE, IMPORT and all these functions… provided your computer is still connected to the web.
Did you try the SEARCH function on the forum to check if this issue was already discussed?
… and it was at least once (http://http://www.delftship.net/DELFTship/index.php/forum/questions/3803-cannot-load-any-model-in-online-database?limitstart=0).
(it sounds there was a problem of language, too).

I have the same question, maybe we should send the files to the administrator?

Yes, models for the database are still welcome- but can not be uploaded through DELFTship – yet.
For the time being you are more than welcome to send your model to us, so we can add them here manually. Please use the info email address

Is there a way to access the model databse if we use an older versión of Delftship?? like 7.14

The models are no longer available through our website, only through DELFTship where you can directly browse, search and download the models.
You could try downloading the free version to download the models and saving them to your current version of DELFTship. Make sure not to upgrade the file version to the latest otherwise your copy of DELFTship won’t be able to open the files.

So two versions of Delftship can be installed in the same computer?
November 2, 2018 at 10:52 #39443MarvenKeymaster
As long as you make sure both versions are installed in a separate folder you can install the free version alongside the pro

The free version does not allow to choose which versión is the file save, just save as FBM , does not give option to save the files in a previous version, and where exactly is the link to the data model, can´t find it.
