Hi, I tried to insert the model of a hull into a model containig a cockpit, the deck and other parts.
Is it possible to merge the edge between the hull and the deck?
The nodes are axacly the same!

      Thanks.

By what I know, the answer is NO.
It is possible to keep the edges coesisiting in the same space, it requiers attention and careful layers management but it could be cause of embarassing mismatches.
Again, it affects Hydrostatics: it’s a leak so Hydros disappear.
Solution is to create a minimal gap, then fill it with >>add button, insert edges, collapse unwanted ones, reposition the layer/s at the original measure.
To assure a good separation between layers, double the edges (not creased), and/or arrange them with a look at the mesh (interior edges), it will help you in case you need to export a .part or give different attributes (color, transparency etc.)
      Hope it helps.
      Regards, Jurgen.

      Hi
      Thank you for your reply.

“Solution is to create a minimal gap, then fill it with >>add button, insert edges, collapse unwanted ones, reposition the layer/s at the original measure.”

It seems a simple but effective!
      I’m going to try.

      thanks
