when performing the limiting vcg calculation, everything is ok besides the curve of severe wind heel criteria.
The curve is zero at all angles.
I already created a wind silhouette.
Problem is that I didn’t succeed in creating critical points (downfloading point) because when I open the critical points window it’s all blank and I can’t make any entries.

Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

      Best regards

The most likely cause is that you haven’t assigned deck line points. Without points marking the deck line delftship is unable to solve the IMO wind criterion which needs to check for deck line immersion.

You can add new critical points in two ways:

      1. Open the critical points window, press on the (empty) grid to activate it. Pressing the ins key on your keyboard will add new critical points which can then be added manually.
      2. To extract deck line points from your hull model first select all edges that form your deck line edge. Then choose “Extract critical points” from the Tools menu. In the window that is show choose “Deck line points” as the point type that should be created, make sure the symmetry box is checked so that the deck line points are located on both sides of the hull. Then press ok.
