import part

is there a tutorial or instructions on how to import a part into a model? for instance, I modeled a cube and imported it into my model, but I couldn’t get it to move off of the origin.

Use the transform move command to move your cube to any location on your model. I usually work out he location I want and the movents it will need to get it there then I hide all the other layers until I have positioned it then bring up the layers ajacent to the final location to make sure it is in the correct position.
