I cannot open my saves :”file was created with a later version”.

Hello everybody

I need your help! I’m a new guy on delftship and i have a problem after 1h30 of modeling. excuse me for my bad english writing…I’m french !

when i launch my saves, I have this message: “This file was created with a later version of DELFTship! it cannot be opened with this version”. however i used the same version for my previous works, i don’t understand what happened. I tried to remove and setup delftship (version4.38.130) but no succes.
The most strange: when i donwload a model on delftship.net and launch it there is no problem!
(i use windows seven 64bit)

I don’t find an existing answer for this problem on the forum or on the internet. Have you the same desagrement?

Does the problem occur when you start the program, or when you try to open a previously save project?

the problem occur when I try to open a previously save project, when i start delftship there is no problem and i can start a new project.
(and i use delftship free version)

Perhaps you have installed the free version, and automatically upgraded to the latest release. Then manually reinstalled version 4.38 (which is a lower version)?

Have you tried updating to the latest version again by using the automatic update feature from delftship? You can find it under “Updates” in the Help menu at the top of your screen. If it doesn’t help send your file to the following address and I will have a look:

As you said I have setup the free version and automatically upgrad to the latest release. but i have followed your advice: help menu and update, know all is ok, i can load my personnal saves! Sorry for trouble and thanks for your help!:)
