Iv’e had trouble with leakpoints and found the answer in a forum discussion.ie.Turn the hydrostats off on the offending layers.
What I’m hoping someone can help me with is to explain what the ramifications are for the data subsequently produced. What’s data is missing and can it still be useful and/or relied upon.
      Any help greatly appreciated 🙂

      Hi Meg,

I think the effect(s) would depend to a large extent on what data is stored in the layers removed from the hydrostatics calculations e.g. layer material thickness and densities.

      Hi Bob,
Thankyou for your reply. All densities and thickness data has been input into layer properties. This info has then reported in the hydrostat tables as weights /centre of gravity etc, which is why I’m confused as to what effect,if any, turning off layers will have.I have 5 bulkheads in individual layers and they seem to be working normally at first glance which by all reports ,they shouldn’t be.I should imagine that that data is then used for other calculations within the program but at that point confusion reigns.

      Hi Meg,

Yes me too. IIRC the program does not calculate GM and if a composite COG is calculated using the data from layers omitted from the hydrostatics is M from the hydrostatics valid?

I have to say it “LOOKS” right; but hope those more knowing than me can advise.

      Best Regards
      Bob
