First open a new file, set the longitudinal number of points to zero, also the vertical number of points to zero

a totally blank screen will appear, from that go to the tools menu, click in the import markers and click it, it will open a screen where you can choose the file where to import the markers from, selected the desired DXF file and acepted, the DXF file will be transfer to Delftship as markers where you can use it to generate the model.

      Hope this helps regards

      Hi,

When I load DXF files I get the “Error reading entity”-message from Delftship.
So I click OK 100 times, and a confirmation dialog box appear saying:
“Do you wnt to merge smaller line segments”. Answer Yes or No.
Regardless of my response, Yes or No, Delftship will show an Information box saying: “No markers could be imported”.

What version of DXF are supported by Delftship?
What information should the DXF file include?

      Should it include polylines, mesh?

A file example would be great.

      Best regards,

      Ole

      Haha,

Using new software is the same as assemble a new Ikea furniture.
If nothing else helps, read the assembly manual.

In the user manual it states that :

      * Autocad DXF files (*.dxf). The files need to be in Autocad R12 format. Only lines, polylines arcs and circles are imported as markers.

      Hi,

I still get the same error messages mentioned above:
When I load DXF files I get the “Error reading entity”-message from Delftship.
So I click OK 100 times, and a confirmation dialog box appear saying:
“Do you wnt to merge smaller line segments”. Answer Yes or No.
Regardless of my response, Yes or No, Delftship will show an Information box saying: “No markers could be imported”.

How should the R12 file look like to be accepted?

      Ole

Same result here however, when I do it backwards going from the Delftship file to a DXF and then from DXF to Delftship file, works fine, so I supose that your file is not rigth for some reason.

      Where is the reason?
