      I know it can be a duffy question, but i am a new user and im having troubles, trying to open my dxf files on DELFTship. Always appears the message : ” Unable to open file”.

      Im desesperate!

      Try saving your dxf as release 12. Usually that helps.

      I saved as dfx R12 but the same message ” Unable to open file” still appearing.

      Are you sure the file is not still open in Autocad? Autocad locks the files you are working on, so if you save it as dxf and not close the file in acad you will not be able to open it in Delftship

      Yes, im sure. Appears the directory of the file beside of this error message. Does the file needs to stay on some specific place?

      Please, could you describe minutely how i import dxf files for i try to find my mistake?
