ParticipantHi,
I like to lurn all about creating small boats with Delftship for development projects in Africa. I am a 60 year young Dutch guy looking for somebody to help me by sitting next to me to explain. I am used to 2D cad. If possible I like to find somebody in The Netherlands who can help me out. Thanks in advance.

ParticipantHi Hans
I can’t help you in the way you wish as I am living in Bali, but I can propose you to download the DelftShip manual and start slowly step by step.
I think most of the forum members with the free or professional version done it the same.
I am sure that if you will post specific questions you will get answers for them.
DelftShip learning is not so complicate and if you start step by step using the manual you will have good progressĀ in my opinion. You can do that until you find someone close to you and have the time to teach you.
Best wishes
Iosif

ParticipantAs Iosif suggested: read the manual and test each command using one of the example models to see how it works. It answers 99% of the problems.
Since you have a 2D designer background, it will be easier for you than for many other users. š
Once you’ll have understood the use, and only then, you’ll be able to draw your work of art.
