My design is skewed in “Perspective View”

My “Profile, Plan, & Body Plan” Views reflect my “Cotrol Net” as true, but when I go to “Perspective”, I have a raked bow with keel repositioned, etc.

I would like to provide screen shots, but I don’t know how to upload…

I experienced this problem previously, and “solved” it by deleting files and reverting to good data.

      Is there an easier solution?

(Mike, You have to know :))

Second question, here: How do I upload files? [file name=Profile_Shot.jpg size=95363]http://www.delftship.net/delftship/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/files/Profile_Shot.jpg[/file]

      Hi Philip
You could try CTRL + A
your screen shot was fine but I cant tell unless I see the whole file. You can wait until Marven gets back from holidays or send it as an attachment to me in an email mike101@exemail.com.au it will be quite save I only design cruising yachts and yours is definately a racer.
PS Change your Delft graphics from LOW to HIGH in the window just above where you have Transom it will smooth your hull out.

      Mike,

Thanks for taking the time to answer my request for help!

I am sending you file (thank you for “trust”) in email.

Not sure what you meant by transom, but it’s now a problem for me.

“Problem” started when I imported new keel sections…

      Mike,

I did the “Ctrl +A” and it fixed the problem (you’re a Saint!)

You now have my (sloppy) file, but please post crticisms for all to see 🙂

When I extrude a line, I now only get a (green) line, with no control points, nor any connections to original line.

This worked for me before – I’m sure that I have (again) screwed something up…

Mike was my “Saint” before, but perhaps a few of you other chaps have input/can share.

My guess is that you have extruded onto an invisible layer. try switching them all on to check whether the new faces become visible.

      WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Thank You, Marven.

      “Stupid is as Stupid does…”

I would like to add my most sincere appreciation for your wonderful program and the personalization (is that a word?) in supporting those of us who use the free version.

That appreciation will be fully realized when I re-gain full employment. At that time, I intend to purchase the complete program.

Again, thanks for your help (where’s Mike? On the couch in your new office?).

      S/F, Phil

      Hi Philip,

Thanks, much appreciated. I’m currently releasing the new version which is a great improvement over version 3.2, so stay tuned……

where’s Mike? On the couch in your new office?.

If only…. I still owe him a beer or two. I guess he’s either finishing his fleet of yachts or otherwise avoiding his ex B)

Mike, are you still out there??
