  I’m modeling a kayak right now and want to model the front deck with elliptical stations. Anyone have suggestions on how to model a perfect ellipse in Delftship?

  Have you tried to add an ellipse as a marker, or even a background image?
  You could easily trace the shape, and the curvature plot assist in obtaining a perfectly fair curve.

  I hadn’t thought of that. I was hoping for some kind of formula for placing control points. I’ll give the background image a go and work backwards from there.
