DXF Export of layers

Hi, I am using TurboCAD (an AutoCAD-like design software) for detailed drawings of elements of a project. Is it possible to export in DXF format only selected layers instead of the full DELFTship project?

Yes, untick visible in the layers dialog.

Hi Maryak,

thank you for the quick reply. However, even with one layer (the hull) set to visible in DELFTship, I get the full set of layers exported to DXF.

Presently, the workaround I use is to copy the project to a new file and then manually delete the unwanted layers before exporting the remaining one(s) to DXF, but the process is long, quite cumbersome, and not really elegant…

I’ll continue my quest…

Hello,
you are lucky.. I have only one layer. The file DXF for the lines plan is considered like corrupted by autocad. I don’t arrived to open and to print.
Same I can’t export my project, the export function is not activeted in the professionnal version I got.
who can help me ?

Sorry, I should have been more explicit. Turning off layers works when exporting to DXF mesh.
DXF 3d curves exports as edges, plus stations, buttocks and waterlines dependent on their selection in the main dialog.

PS I have often wondered why the free version removed the ability to export to IGS which was available in earlier versions.
