      Dear Saleh,
Chines are made by applying the “Set Crease” button when one or more edges are selected. If you want to stop a chine length, just select the appropriate number of edges and turned them crease edges.

Just make the edge not crease from the desired point. I attached the pictures to illustrate how to do that.
      I hope it helps. 🙂

      Kind regards, Hrvoje

I am very sorry to say, but I never used this way of work. Consequently I am not of any use in your case.

I imported your chines and I got a ship of very irregular bow shape. What kind of ship are you doing?

      Kind regards, Hrvoje

      Hi, Saleh!

Is the chine import in the DelftShip program the only way to obtain hull form? If not, try to create new hull using program’s NEW function. In the process of hull creation you will be asked for main dimensions of the ship. Automatically created hull will not be that what you need, but by implementing some changes you can obtain the hull you need.
Also, you can search Design database for the ship which is the closest to the form of your ship. Then you can change the hull shape to obtain needed form.

In the download area of this site you have User’s Manual for DelftShip program. You will need Acrobat Reader to open it.

I wish you successful day. 🙂

      Kind regards, Hrvoje

      Hi Saleh!

How familiar are you with DelftSHIP? It would be nice to me, to know how detail instructions you will need of me.
Can you successfuly import the chines from the “txt” file?

      Kind regards, Hrvoje

After you import the chines check the hull form to see if you are satisfied with it.

      Chines001.jpg
On the picture above you will see that the bow form is not as you could expect.

      Chines002.jpg
Do you need the bow as on the picture above?

      Hi Saleh,
It seems to me that you didn’t use the CREASE edges for defining your chines. The result is that you have to create the hull with too many edges and points (crazy…). Find attached a refined model (without smoothing) where I just took some excess points and edges away.
Althought I don’t think this is a goog

      Hi Saleh,
Try this one to check your hull. See how points and edges are arranged to build a hull similar to yours. Hope you find it usefull.
      Regards,
      Sergio.

      Hi, Saleh!

sd_naval gave you very good advice and it is good idea to follow it. Take as limited number of control points as possible to define the hull. I don’t know what exactly is your task and consequently it is very difficult to say if your hull is good. I had a look at sd_naval’s last version of the hull and I like it. Do you have a mentor at the university? Maybe he can help you better than people on the forum. Here, we mainly discuss how to use DelfSHIP software.

      Have a nice day!

      Kind regards, Hrvoje

      Hi Saleh,
Please find attached the previous file I sent to you, but now in DS version 4.1
      Hope you enjoy it.
PS: this is fairly good to start working in arrangement, stability, etc., but not faired for production purposes

      Regards,
      Sergio.
