I did it once but not to AutoCAD 2017. I use a much older version of AutoCAD ^^

I just saved my DelftShip model (or exported it?) in a compatible format (*.DXF as far as I remember). In AutoCad I found my model as a polygonal surface.

In Delftship turn off Buttocks and waterlines with stations turned on. You should now be exporting edges and stations only.
      Select export as 3D curves.dxf.
In the export settings select Autocad dxf 2010/2011/2012.
Open the exported file in Autocad.

      Good afternoon.

Thank you for the tips. The issue decided in this way:
      1. Exported as said Maryak in DFX file, then this file is unfortunately in autocad 2017 is not opened.
      2. Open the resulting file in Rinoceros 5. It resave the file extension with DWG settings, as in the screenshot.

      3. Open the file in Autocad 2017.

      Thank you.

      Hi Alex,

      Happy you got it sorted.

I have had no trouble opening delfship created dxf files with Acad 2016.

It is important to check which version of Autocad you are saving the dxf file in delfship. Earlier versions save as polylines later versions save as splines. I forget which version this changes.

      Regards
      Maryak
