For some time now, I have been using ProSurf from NewWaveSystems to design a sailboat hull.
This program is a NURBs modeler, and supports export
in dxf and iges formats.
I want to move my project to DelftShip.
As I understand, DS uses a different surface system than PS. Big question for me, can I specify the limits to plates on the hull surface? I ask because
I am designing a radius chine hull for aluminum construction and the hull has both developable and compound surfaces.
Also, can I print out the rendered view of the hull?
INDY
Hi Indy,
Yes, you can use layers to subdivide your hull into several areas or plates. It’s also possible to save a rendered view to a file or send it to your printer.
