Coordinates of hull geometry points

Hi,

I am starting to use DELFTDHIP

I want to design a hull from an existing hull about which I know only the coordinates of some particular points. When we draw hull shape the points coordinates displayed in the small window are the coodinates of the control points. I would like to access to the real points coordinates of hull for modifying them or fill up them with an Excel file .
Is there anybody that can explain to me how to proceed for getting such possibility?

You are referring to a table of offsets.
A table of offsets must be entered in a very specific format, the instructions for this can be found in the DS manual.

I am also wrestling with a similar aspect of this at the moment and we are discussing the issue at the moment.

In fact I want to manipulate the real point of hull geometry and not the the control points. Its ssems that DS gives us onlr the cordinates of control points is there a possibiulity to access tp these information and to modify them directly ?

A bit of a delay because I have been away for a couple of weeks.
In answer, no I think not. You could export your hull to Iges format and use Polycad for your surface work.
