Automatic Fairing

  How do I use the “Automatic Fairing feature”? I am new to this software and the down loadable manual describes this feature but How is it used? The “Free version” has it grayed out. Is it the version? Do I need to be in a certain window/design area?
  
  Really like the software and I am hopping to be able to purchase the pro version but I am a small one man boat/custom woodshop, so it is a large expense for me, when the largest boat I will ever design or built will be less then 20 feet. Is there a less expensive option or possible plans for one? Attached is a “Work in progress” named Swamp Rat. It is a 15 foot 5 foot beam small fishing boat.

  Dear NealJr,
  auto fairing is only available in the Pro version, as far as price goes, excluding freeware DelftShip is very inexpensive. Beleive me, I have looked at most hull design programs on this planet maybe the intire universe.

  Thanks! that is what I thought. I agree the the cost of the software is very reasonable but $300.00 U.S. dollars for my shop is a lot at this time. Maybe in the future. Thank you again and looking forward to seeing ya’ll in the forum.
