I have imported chines from AutoCAD (single chine)
The Sheer and Centerline are same, but the chine ends in different point than the imported xyz (in FreeShip it ends at the Sheer and Centerline end/stem)
      Have some solution?

I undestand that can’t expect to get answer for every question regarding a free software.
Can I get answer to the bellow question?

DELFTship can import DXF files. They will be drawn in DELFTship exactly as in AutoCad where they was generated or will be changed as the xyz imported cordinates to FreeShip as I have shown in my previous posts

I WILL APPRECIATE EVERY ANSWER THAT WILL CLARIFY MY QUESTION

      Better later than never.
DELFTship is drawing exactly as it was in AutoCad. 🙂 🙂 🙂
The mistake was mine in the xyz file 🙁

I use the import chines and curves feature very often, and I allways have to do “minor” adjustments once i get tha model, in my opinion is very fats and gives a good accurancy, so as I said, I used very often with very good results.

My problem was 18 months ago and because of my work I was out from the subject. Just recently I begin again with the old model and I find out that the problem was my xyz wrong coordinates. So FreeShip made the drawing according to what I have asked.
Now the drawings are similar, with small corrections.

Again problem with importing xyz file. I am sure I am making some mistake but I don’t understand what:

      EOF

According to the xyz file, the chine should end at x=2.75 but it ends at 2.97
2.75 is the place when the chine line should connect to the keel line

      PLEASE HELP

You should only enter the points of the chine from the stern to the bow until the chine meets another curve. so in your case the point where the keel meets the bow (at 2.750 0.000 0.432) should be the end point of the curve.
This results in 6 points for the keel and chine curves and 8 points for the deck line. When the curves are imported the software will automatically ensure that the number of points on each imported curve is equal to the other curves. To avoid loss of accuracy I’d suggest the make this number equal to the number of points on the curve with the largest number. In your case that would be 8.

The resulting file should look like this:

      0
      0.000 0.000 0.000
      0.550 0.000 0.000
      1.100 0.000 0.000

      1.650 0.589 0.197
      2.200 0.400 0.297

      Hi Marven

Thank you for the advice. I am in a trip so I will do it at the end of the week and report the results
