      Dear friends,

Russian translation is almost complete, although some deficiencies remains. Because I have access only to the free version, I can not determine the true value of some ambiguous English words (I hope user will smile and still understand exactly what that means). I also do not know many English-language abbreviations except the most common (like Vertical CoG etc). Probably, professionals will understand it yourself?
I will soon upload the translation on the site and will wait for reviews and comments.

      Andrew

It would be great if you add text file with common “shipbuilding abbreviations” to this forum. Smthg like this:
VCG = Vertical Center of Gravity
      …and so on.

But I hope Marvin will do it sooner. =)

      Hi Andrew,

Attached is a pdf of the common terms used in Naval Architecture. The list is not exhaustive and because I’m an old dog it is in imperial units.

If you need more help just yell

      Best Regards
      Bob

Updated translation file is located in the attachment. Some strings were not translated, as they are not present in the English original (see screenshots). I will appreciate any comments, that can improve the translation, as well as to correct misprints unnoticed. Also, for some reason, were not transferred to the Russian comments in the documents created by program (reports, etc.) Unfortunately, the program does not allow to take screenshots of these documents.

Обновлённый перевод файла находится во вложении. Некоторые строки не были переведены, так как их нет в английском оригинале (см. скриншоты). Я буду признателен за любые замечания, которые позволят улучшить перевод, а также исправить незамеченные опечатки. Также отчего-то не были переведены на русский комментарии в создаваемых программой документах (отчёты и т.п.) К сожалению, программа не позволяет сделать скриншоты таких документов.

This is strange. I just installed this program on another computer in my office, then the file was downloaded, unpacked and checked. It works properly. Now I’ll attach the same file without archiving, but because the forum permits the publication of files with certain extensions only, you’ll have to change the extension of your own – instead of “rus.doc” type “russian.lng”. After that copy it to the place of old file (usually C:Program FilesDELFTshipLanguages) and say “overwrite” to your Windows. Be cruel! =)
But Adobe Acrobat has no relation to this file. Press RMB on link below and choose “Save as…” instead of ‘Run” or “Execute with Acrobat”.

Guys, thanks for the great effort!

While I can’t read Russian, the lng file (the updated lng zip file) works and seems complete. Quite an accomplishment!
We will make this file available in the download site soon..

      Thanks again!
