I intentionally have a knuckle in my transom so that it is slightly vertical in the upper area, then it moves more inboard as it approaches the bottom. I did this partly to get more flight deck without significantly changing the length on the waterline.
I’m wishing i drew my transom on a separate layer so i could more easily manipulate the shape. I have to read up on how to successfully move items to one layer from another layer.
