Thanks for you quick reply. My “final draft” of what I want to accomplish is a hull that encompasses the physical design criteria and aesthetics I have in mind, packaged within a height/beam/weight configuration that is legally trailer-able on state roads, and develop-able with plywood. The hull shape I posted earlier is a working draft model which I need to modify to length 30′, beam 11′, total air draft of 13′ from cabin top to keel bottom. That makes the hull considerably narrower than in the current draft, so I’m trying to retain as much of the stout character and large beam-to-length ratio as possible yet still conforming to the above criteria. It will be an iterative approach, progressively narrowing in on the most appealing hull form that meets the physical and aesthetic constraints. I could go on more about the reasons for choosing the rather unorthodox curves I’ve put into the draft hull, but that’s probably a longer discussion better suited to phone than email.
What I was hoping to do by posting here is find someone like yourself who would be willing to work on an hourly basis, is adept with FreeShip, with whom I could set up a remote console session, so you could take remote control of my console and work the design in real time while we’re on phone conference and show me around the finer points and most efficient workflows and technical obstacles I’ve encountered in FreeShip.
I have a pretty clear vision of what I want this hull to look like and under which conditions I want certain performance criteria, but I need the expert facilities of a FreeShip user to bring the draft to a final hull form stage.
If I’m missing your question, perhaps we could have a quick phone conference where I could explain qualitatively some of the design criteria I’ve set up.
