All the leak points are on the Sheer line that is above the water line
My questions are:
1. What I am doing wrong?
2. Have some way to eliminate those leak points?
You’re not doing anything wrong, and the software also works as intended.
Using the chines import routine only the hull will be imported. Since there is no deck the hull will be flooded as soon as one of the points on the sheer line becomes submerged. Hence the leak points.
The remedy is to add a deck:
- Select the sheerline edges
- Extrude towards the center plane
- Finally make sure all new deck points are exactly on the center plane (y=0..0)
