Hi there,
From Marven I was suggested to follow this sequence:
-First mirror your model around the center plane so you have both sides of the geometry modeled
-Then switch off the symmetry settings for all the layers you have just mirrored. This ensures the software doesn’t mirror these layers againg during the calculations.
-Rotate the model around the longitudinal axis
-Finally you can try to find the new draught by iterating between a minimum and maximum draught until your displacement matches the original design displacement
Has anybody tried this? I tried but no luck!I get only the two hull halves apart and no hydrostatics!
