Thanks for your comments. Many thanks.

I am going to start working like a freelance. Naturally, I must buy naval architecture software, and I am testing and considering different options and possibilities.

Because of this, I am checking carefully the free version of DELFT, and I have many questions.

One by one is possible using the mouse (free move), move a point.
For few points, really, I have checked that it is possible to move some points at the same time. But for few points, in the free version I have only discovered numerical move (Select some points; and use the option move from the menu transform (but I only found that it is possible numerically for few points, not free movement with the mouse (Maybe I did something wrong)).

I use many times RHINO. I checked that it is possible in the free version import VMRL from a VMRL of RHINO. Really, it looks a beginning to import a hull to study loadcases and stability. But it is not an option to import surfaces and nurbs for work in DELFT.

Export to RHINO from the free version it is possible using STL files. It is not NURBS, but it could be a begining.

Regarding the IGES topic, I am very interested in opinions of professional version users. I have a hulls library with IGE files of existing vessels and yachts, originally made by other programs. Obviously, for me it is very important the way to import these automatically and start to use.

IGES export, Mike indicated that it is working good.

Another particularity for me very important is catamarans. I am interested in opinions of professional users on these.

Finally, for me, to be a good program it is very important the way to start working with existing vessels (for example for me it is now the top: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KPHcf4_VFg ).

Regards.
