starting from a blank page. How do I draw lines on it?  I saw the templates but I want to draw a new design not modify an existing one.    Thanks

      Hi Joe,

We typically never start from a completely blank page- either one of the templates is a near enough match to start with, or we take a cube etc as a starting point.

If you insist on starting with a blank sheet, start with a minimum of 4 points, which you select in proper order, and then add a surface. An edge always has to have at least one surface connected- so you can not add edges between ‘disconnected’ points.

Ahh and therein lies part of the problem.  I can’t figure out how to get the first point to “stick” to the blank page so I can add the others and thus built out the 4 point figure.  There is some sequence of steps that I have yet to figure out to make that happen.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Ahhhhh.   Finally figured out how to do this.  I definitely did not find this obvious nor intuitive but progress is being made.  🙂
