      Hello,

Is there a simple way to copy the X-, Y- and Z- values of a single coordinate-point from the ‘coordinate’ box into the ‘Rotate’ box?

Now I have to enter all these values by hand, which is very time consuming.

      Thanks on forehand.

      Hi GLS,

Interesting point. For the primitives-tools we already implemented something to facilitate this. I think we can do the same for the rotate function. (e.g. select two points before hitting the rotate button to have these points pre-entered). This should be a relatively minor fix, that we may be able to include in the next release (planned for January)

Thanks, I will wait for the implementation.

      I side with GLS.

As a former AutoCAD user, I remember how easy were the rotations, translations, symmetries, circle and offset drawing, etc. Just pressing two or three times the mouse button and entering a radius, an angle or distance…

I suggest to implement a “Selection by mouse” button near the coordinates boxes in the convenient dialogue windows (like it exists, too, in spreadsheets programs to choose a box’ coordiantes meanwhile you’re typing a formula).

      Hi Icare!

We’ll look into making these features easier, but for the moment I think it will be selecting two points that define an axis to be pre-entered, based on selected points.
